Jetstream
Software Named One of the Top High Tech Firms in Washington
State
Kirkland, Wash.
-- October 20, 2005
Jetstream
Software, a
locally-headquartered provider of outsourced software
development services and technology consulting to Fortune 500
and newly emerging companies, today announced that is has once
again been named among "Fastest Growing Companies" in Washington
State by the Puget Sound Business Journal.
The company
ranked 100th on the prestigious list which includes
many of Washington State's most entrepreneurial companies.
"Jetstream’s success, whether in 2000 or
today can be credited to one philosophy – hire smart people and
give them what they need to deliver for our customers.” stated
Mike Moskowitz, Jetstream CEO
and Founder.
The listing,
one of several that regularly include Jetstream Software, was
published in the October 24th 2005 issue of the Puget Sound
Business Journal and ranks firms based on employee year to year
revenue growth. The ranking is not limited to companies from any
particular industry. Each Fastest Growing company must have been
established by January 1, 2002; must be an independent,
privately held company with headquarters in Washington State;
and have recorded net revenues of at least $200,000 in 2002.
Jetstream has last appeared on the list in 2000, when it was
ranked number 6. This is not the 10 year old company’s first
recognition as an industry leader. Jetstream Software has been
recognized repeatedly by Washington CEO and the Puget Sound
Business Journal as one of Washington’s software leaders – as
well as one of the fastest growing private companies in the
state. Jetstream’s founder, Mike
Moskowitz, has served on the board of the Washington
Software Alliance as well as other industry associations, and is
a frequently requested speaker at high tech events.
“Jetstream has
resisted the temptation to dilute our services, we do one thing
very well – build market quality software for software centric
clients. Our clients know they can depend on our expertise to
solve their problems,” states Jon-Jacques
Umphrey, Director of Marketing and Sales. “It’s great to be
recognized not only for our growth, but also for our staying
power. Many of the firms that we shared this honor with in 2000
are simply no longer in business.”
