Jetstream
Software Named One of the Top High Tech Firms in Washington
State
Kirkland, Wash.
-- August 11, 2005
Jetstream
Software, a
locally-headquartered provider of outsourced software
development services and technology consulting to Fortune 500
and newly emerging companies, today announced that is
has once again been named among "The Top 100 Software Companies"
in Washington State by Washington CEO Magazine
The company
ranked 87th on the prestigious list which includes
such industry giants such as Boeing, Microsoft, and Philips.
"We attribute our continued growth and
success to the quality, dedication and expertise of the
Jetstream team,” stated Mike Moskowitz, Jetstream CEO and
Founder. "Their talent provides our clients the ability to adopt
and benefit from new technology without the attendant risk of
going it alone."
The listing,
one of several that regularly include Jetstream Software, was
published in the August 2005 issue of Washington CEO magazine
and ranks technology firms based on employee headcount. It is
derived from the total number of employees in Washington State
during the years 2002 2003. This is not the 10 year old
company’s first recognition as an industry leader. In previous
years Jetstream Software has been recognized repeatedly by
Washington CEO and the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of
Washington’s software leaders – as well as one of the fastest
growing private companies in the state. Jetstream’s founder,
Mike Moskowitz, has served on the board of the Washington
Software Alliance as well as other industry associations, and is
a frequently requested speaker at high tech events.
“Jetstream’s
continued growth in the face of increasing offshore and national
competition reflects our clients’ recognition that complex
projects are more successful when you leverage seasoned experts to apply technology to business needs,” states
Jon-Jacques Umphrey, Director of Marketing and Sales. “In this
industry you have to deal with ambiguity and rapid change – and
you can’t do that unless you’ve been around the block.”
