| A few reasons
not to pick Jetstream for your next development
project
1. You just need more "warm
bodies"
Jetstream won't be your best choice if you have an ongoing,
in-house development effort that is working well but needs
additional resources. You might want to contact a traditional
contracting agency in this case. Jetstream concentrates on
full-lifecycle, off-site,
team-oriented product
development.
Of course, there might be more-independent
related projects (such as utilities or the setup)
that might make excellent candidates for outsourcing, freeing
up your staff's energies for the primary project.
2. You need non-Windows or non-PC
work
We specialize in Windows and .NET, whether
for the desktop, client/server, Internet or Intranet. And
we're rapidly becoming known for our Linux and Macintosh work. But we don't
do mainframe work.
3. Your project falls outside
of our expertise
We pride ourselves on being able to learn new technologies
and development methods. But to be the best value for our
clients, we've concentrated on certain core
technologies, such as .NET. We don't work in PowerBuilder,
FoxPro, or other less powerful development environments.
